Nova — Home automation prototype

Context

Nova is a web prototype I built for a domotics (home automation) startup that needed a working demo to validate their product idea with users and investors. I owned both the design and the implementation — mockups first, then the Flutter Web code.

My role

• Product design: defined the visual language and laid out the screens from scratch — no existing design system, no UI handoff.
• Frontend implementation: built the prototype in Flutter Web, translating my own mockups into a working app.
• Single-handed delivery: from blank canvas to clickable prototype, ready to put in front of users.

Why Flutter Web

The startup wanted one codebase that could later target mobile without rebuilding. Flutter Web let me ship a working web prototype fast while keeping the door open to native iOS / Android on the same source.
